ELGIN, IL – We may be in the middle of the coldest days in recent memory, but at the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin, things are feeling a little warmer thanks to USAgain.
The West Chicago-based textile recycling company recently donated over 100 gently used winter coats to the Club, marking the second straight year the company has provided some winter relief to the organization.
"We collect all kinds of clothing and other items at our textile recycling bins," said Mattias Wallander, CEO of USAgain. "It’s an easy decision to give back to our local communities by passing the winter items along to those who need it. We thank the Boys & Girls Club for giving us this opportunity."
The Elgin chapter isn't the only Boys & Girls Club location getting coats this winter. Coat donations will be made in USAgain's ten other divisions, in Atlanta, Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New York, Pennsylvania, San Francisco, Seattle, SoCal and St. Louis.
USAgain looks forward to future donations and events with Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. On a day as cold as today, it's as good a time as any to provide a little winter warmth for those in need.
