USAgain Announces Expansion in North Dakota

Clothing recycler to place clothing recycling drop-boxes in local communities

CHICAGO, Il. - (April 2, 2012) - Today USAgain, the company that helps divert millions of pounds of clothing and textiles from landfills each year, announces the expansion of its operations in North Dakota. USAgain provides residents with an eco-friendly way to discard reusable clothing, shoes and other textiles in their conveniently located drop boxes.

Last month, USAgain began installing new drop boxes in communities around North Dakota. The green and white drop boxes will be placed at local businesses in West Fargo, Fargo, Kindred, Ambercrombie, Casselton, Valley City and Wahpeton.

"According to the EPA, Americans discard approximately 13 million tons of textile waste each year and about 85 percent of that goes directly into landfills," said Mattias Wallander, CEO of USAgain. "Our expansion in these communities will help residents keep clothing and textiles out of landfills - providing them with a convenient and eco-friendly way of disposing of reusable clothes."

The new drop-boxes will be placed in partnership with businesses, which will be compensated for each pound of clothing they collect. Residents can deposit reusable clothing, shoes and other textiles in USAgain drop boxes, which are monitored and serviced regularly. To find a drop box in your area please visit
