USAgain is proud to be partnered with FastLane Convenience Stores for the recycling of clothing and other textiles. Sponsors like FastLane make it possible for USAgain to connect with local communities and give them a convenient option to recycle clothing and shoes.
FastLane Convenience, operated by the Warrenton Oil Company stores operates 33 outlets in 12 counties throughout Missouri. FastLane’s dedication to customer service is what sets them apart from the competition. Warrenton Oil Company was founded as First Capitol Oil in 1972, by husband and wife R.G. and Betty Baker.
Warrenton Oil is a true family business – all eight of R.G. and Betty’s children are directly involved in company operations at the corporate headquarters in Truesdale. Warrenton Oil’s dedication to family values and great service is shown through the partnership with USAgain. By partnering to recycle surplus clothing and textiles, the company is doing good for the environment and people.
FastLane is no stranger to charitable donations. All of the revenue earned by textile collection at FastLane locations in Moscow Mills, Columbia, Ashland, Holt Summit and Winfield is donated to Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles, MO. The shelter is dedicated to ending pet homelessness and advocating responsible pet ownership. Five Acres found homes for 590 dogs and cats in 2012 alone, and FastLane's donations were a great help in doing so.
Next time you stop by a FastLane location, bring with any extra clothing, shoes or miscellaneous textiles you’ve got lying around. Drop them in the green and white USAgain bin, and when you go inside to buy something, rest assured you’re supporting a true family business that’s concerned with improving the environment and serving the community.
