Animal Services

USAgain is pleased to partner with Animal Services, located at 3120 Martin Way East in Olympia. The onsite collection bin allows Olympia residents to conveniently recycle surplus textiles when visiting Animal Services.

Animal Services is the go-to organization in Thurston County for all pet-related issues, with the overall mission being to promote responsible pet ownership, to provide enforcement of animal law, to reduce pet overpopulation, to provide shelter for orphaned animals and to provide pet adoption opportunities.

Animal Services advocates pet health by providing emergency care and administering grants for assistance with veterinary care, as well as grants for spaying and neutering pets. Above all, Animal Services is a resource center for anyone who is unsure about a medical or social issue regarding a pet. Animal Services is always looking for helpful volunteers for its shelter – anyone interested should refer to the Volunteer FAQ.

Animal Services’ partnership with USAgain will allow the pet resource center to do good for the environment, too. Anyone is welcome to stop by and recycle unwanted clothing, shoes or other textiles. Animal Services also accepts donations of dry, high-quality pet food.
