Women Helping Women has been supporting the Orange County community for years. As part of their ongoing efforts to support job seekers, they have partnered with USAgain to continue their clothing drive to collect business attire for disadvantaged men, women and teens.

On Tuesday, September 16th, USAgain went one step further in their support of the mission of WHW.

USAgain, a local textile recycling company who has been collecting professional clothing for WHW during a two-month clothing drive, delivered some of the donated clothing to WHW and then volunteered to be personal shoppers for two job seekers in need of a professional look for interviews.

Nick Yagar and Christine Wong of USAgain worked with WHW clients, helping them to navigate the process of selecting two professional outfits and accessories. The job seekers, who were not experienced in shopping for professional attire, enjoyed the personal attention and were delighted with their new looks, leaving WHW with confidence for their next interviews!

WHW is an organization that provides comprehensive employment support services disadvantaged men, women and teens to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment success. WHW has been serving men, women and teens in the Orange County Community since 1993. Based in Santa Ana, the organization has served more than 50,000 people since its inception.

To participate in the clothing drive, bag any business clothing, shoes or accessories you no longer want, write WHW with permanent marker on the bag and deposit the bag at a USAgain bin. You can find the nearest USAgain at http://www.usagain.com.
